The Nikon Z9 v.5.10 is here!
An update to Nikon’s mirrorless full-frame flagship offers next-level professional video recording
The latest update to the Z9 has arrived – and videographers will love it. From this month, Z9 users will benefit from a new shutter mode.
Filmmakers will now be able to set the shutter angle to one of 15 steps, between 5.6° and 360° in Manual mode. This new feature will allow optimal motion blur at the desired frame rate and eliminates the need to select a shutter speed whenever the frame rate is adjusted.
And that’s not all. Filmmakers will be able to change the colour of the zebra pattern display and customise the size, transparency and display position of brightness information displays such as the histogram and waveform monitor. The result? Confirming appropriate exposure has never been so easy, even when recording high-contrast scenes. A true breeze.
